Peter Kay is set to take to the stage tonight at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro as a part of his 2025 and 2026 UK tour. The iconic comedian from Manchester performed in the city in early 2023, and fans are delighted to see him back again so soon – particularly as he previously took a 12 year break from live audiences.

The well known funny man, who has been a household name since the late 1990s, thanks to his extensive television and musical career, will play two nights over the Easter weekend in Glasgow on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19.

However, there’s good news for fans who missed out, as Peter is set to return for another two shows later this year and will also be back in Glasgow in early 2026, playing a total of six shows in the city.

Peter Kay stirred up some controversy when multiple hecklers were removed from his show in Manchester’s AO Arena earlier this year.

He compared one woman to Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley before having security chuck her out – something to bear in mind if you are going to tonight’s gig and you might even hear a joke or two about the incident from Peter himself.

Fans who are heading to the arena tonight are in for a great night of stand up comedy, but make sure you are organised before you go.

Here’s everything you need to know about Peter Kay’s two shows this weekend.

Going into 2026, he will return for two final gigs on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, next year.

Doors will open for the gig tonight at 6:30pm with Peter Kay set to arrive on stage at 8pm ‘sharp’.

The show will likely be finished by 10:30pm at the very latest.

Are tickets still available for Peter Kay at the Hydro?

You can find remaining seats here for all of his Glasgow gigs with tickets priced from £56.50.

Also you want to make sure not to rush out when the show initially appears to end as there’s an extended encore that fans of the comedian won’t want to miss.
