Here is how the weather is shaping up ahead of next week’s yellow warningNorthern Ireland weekend weather forecast(Image: Met Office)
Northern Ireland is set to be hit by Storm Floris at the start of next week, with heavy rain and gales expected.
Before then, however, the weather across this weekend will feature warmer temperatures, sunshine, and clear periods. There is likely to be some rain at times, too, but it will stay mostly dry.
At 6am on Monday, August 4, a yellow weather warning will come into force for Northern Ireland as Storm Floris arrives. As for what we can expect, Matthew Lehnert, Met Office Chief Meteorologist, said: “Across the warning area, many inland areas are likely to see gusts of 40-50mph, with 60-70mph more likely at higher elevations and around exposed coasts in Scotland.

Before then, however, here’s what we can expect from the weather forecast across Northern Ireland this weekend.
Saturday

Sunday
