A Liverpool ONE venue has permanently closed. Sblended Milkshakes is located on the top floor of the shopping complex, next to Slim Chickens and Yo! Sushi, in a site situated directly opposite the entrance to the Odeon Cinema.
After more than 10 years of operating out of the Liverpool ONE location, the shop’s opening hours have been updated on Google to state it is ‘permanently closed’, with similar updates being posted on the brand’s Instagram account, which had previously been inactive since November 2023.
The smoothie and milkshake chain has a number of other locations elsewhere in the UK, including Greenwich, Bluewater and High Wycombe. The Paradise Street location is still listed on the company’s website.
Sblended was perhaps best known for its range of ‘create your own’ milkshakes, where customers could choose their size, flavours and topping to create a custom drink. The shop had a huge selection of chocolate bars, biscuits, cakes and sweets that customers could choose to add into their blended shakes.

It’s not the only recent closure inside the shopping complex. Last week, Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar closed its doors for the final time. The company’s logo has been removed from above the door with boarding placed in the windows.
The store, which is located on Manesty’s Lane in the city centre, opened its doors for the first time in 2012. News of its closure came last month after a mutual agreement with the company’s landlord to “focus on investment into full-category stores.”
In a statement shared with the ECHO, a Harvey Nichols spokesperson said: “As we implement our strategy to reposition Harvey Nichols for growth, our emphasis is on full category stores within our estate.
“We have reviewed our store portfolio and mutually agreed with the Landlord of our Beauty Bazaar location in Liverpool to surrender the lease as we focus on investment into full-category stores. Unfortunately, this means that our employees in the Liverpool store may be at risk of redundancy.

“We have entered into a consultation process and are doing everything we can to support those affected by the surrender.” A spokesperson from Liverpool ONE said: “Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols has made an important contribution to Liverpool ONE’s success since opening in 2012.
“We’re committed to bringing the best, in-demand brands to Liverpool ONE and we have well-progressed plans to transform the space that will ensure Liverpool ONE continues to go from the strength-to-strength. We look forward to sharing an update soon.”
But despite recent closures, 2025 is a huge year of openings for Liverpool ONE, with UNIQLO, Sephora and other huge brands arriving at the shopping complex over the coming months.
Bath & Body Works, which provides a range of body lotions, candles, home fragrances, soaps and personal care products, will be among the latest shops to open in the complex.
The American chain moves into a 3,000 square foot unit. Colourful boarding was posted teasing the store, advertising the brand’s creams, candles and hand washes with vibrant colours and water splashes.
The Liverpool ECHO understands the store is preparing to open next weekend with final touches being completed for the launch.
Bath & Body Works will neighbour two new arrivals – soft toy brand Miniso and returning staple Boux Avenue. Boux Avenue’s opening was initially set for April 17 but has been postponed to a date which is yet to be confirmed.
The brand has relocated numerous times but will finally settle in a new unit at Lower South John Street in Liverpool ONE.
