This comes as part of a national campaign by Octopus Energy.

The energy supplier has joined forces with The Sun to provide 1,000 kits to 100 teams across the country, regardless of whether they are Octopus customers.

Teams can apply for the free kits until July 31 at www.thesun.co.uk/octopuskits.

The selected teams will be able to choose from 13 different kit designs.

As part of their ongoing Octopus Kits for Kids campaign, Octopus Energy has already donated kits to several clubs, including Almondsbury Utd FC under-11s.

Matthew Jackson, coach at Almondsbury Utd FC, said: “The free Almondsbury Utd kit is a dream come true.

“The vibrant colour is eye-catching and the quality is top-notch.

“The kids love it and they all feel like they’ve won a competition.”

Lana-Jane Roberts, a player with the under-11s, said: “I really feel it makes us look like a professional team.

“Thank you so much for choosing us.”
