Leeds United and Tottenham have history of business and there could be more further down the line after Thomas Frank’s comments.

The main names that sticks out between these two clubs in recent times are Joe Rodon and Archie Gray.

Gray is set to have a bigger impact in Frank’s Spurs, which Leeds fans will love to see, as the youngster will surely hope to return to Elland Road one day.

As for the Whites’ Welsh centre-back, Eddie Gray still thinks Rodon starts for Tottenham, as the 27-year-old has shown his quality under Daniel Farke.

Well, another player who excelled under Farke’s regime might have just had a hint dropped about him by the Spurs boss after Heung-Min Son announced he was leaving the North London side.

In a big announcement from Spurs’ camp, Son confirmed after ten years that he will be leaving Tottenham.

This could leave the door open for Leeds target Manor Solomon to stay at the Lilywhites, but Frank has other plans.

In an exclusive from LeedsUnited.News, Solomon could leave Tottenham for less than £20 million, and now the Spurs boss might have hinted at this happening, fuelling a return to Elland Road.

Frank spoke in a pre-match press conference ahead of a friendly against Newcastle United and mentioned the players who could replace Son.

“Brennan Johnson is a player who could play on the left. Also, I think that Wilson Odobert did well against Arsenal, and also Mathys Tel is a flexible player,” Frank said.

“I think we have some young, promising players that can step up.”

The Dane saying this might have dropped a hint to the Israeli winger, as there is no mention at all of Solomon being in his winger plans.

Ultimately, the Whites should take this as a win, as it appears he will be leaving the club after all.

Tottenham will surely sell Manor Solomon to Leeds United due to UEFA rules

Suddenly, after plenty of rumours suggesting that Solomon wasn’t going anywhere this summer, the dots are beginning to align.

The 26-year-old not being mentioned gives a clear reason that Frank doesn’t even consider him as an option.

But Tottenham might sell Solomon due to UEFA rules, as the winger doesn’t meet the requirements of being a homegrown player in the squad for the Champions League.

Spurs’ manager will consider the former Leeds loanee as one of these players he has to sacrifice, and after his success in West Yorkshire, the Whites have got to be his destination.

Farke needs a winger and it might soon appear that Solomon needs a club, as the reunion is beginning to make sense.
