Women’s Aid raises alarm as police receive more than 5,200 reports over 108 days

Domestic abusers routinely use local women’s violent deaths to intimidate their partners, Women’s Aid NI has warned.
This shocking revelation came as a Freedom of Information request showed the police received 5,284 domestic abuse-related calls over 108 days in March, April, May and up to the middle of June this year.
