Struggling with morning sickness, Avani’s pregnancy is still a secret from her parents, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).

Eve tries to persuade Suki to tell them, while Avani is self-conscious at Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) party and is caught by Suki and Eve just as she reaches for a drink.

A row causes Avani to flee, and Eve tracks her down as the pair have a proper chat about the teen’s true feelings.

Eve agrees to support Avani’s decision to have a termination, going back on the plan for her and Suki to raise the baby.

Suki is suspicious when Eve and Avani make excuses to go off together, unaware they’re going to the clinic.

Stacey convinces Suki to be honest with Priya and Ravi, but it’s not long before the pair unleash their fury at Suki as the fallout of Avani’s termination ripples across the family.

But what will become of Suki and Eve’s marriage after so many lies between them?

Soon, Joel, who got Avani pregnant in the first place, finds out and is angry he wasn’t consulted.

He goes to confront Avani, with Priya urging Ravi to stay calm when Joel tries to provoke him.

Joel later berates Avani, and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) steps in to drag him home.

Vicki reads Joel the riot act, but is shocked by his response. And that’s not the only drama surrounding Joel next week…

Stacey is excitedly preparing for Lily’s (Lillia Turner) return, but then she learns that her SecretCam pictures and videos have been leaked online.

She thinks Joel is behind it, and she storms over to confront him.

Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) intervenes, and Joel manages to convince his dad he isn’t to blame.

But Stacey reports Joel to the police, although he remains confident that he’ll be in the clear.

Stacey soon receives news about the investigation, but will Joel be proven as the guilty party?

3. Elaine Knight is attacked while protecting Kojo AsareKojo and Harry walking together in EastEnders

Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) tries to secretly intervene as Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) and Ravi use Kojo’s flat for their illegal activities.

But after being warned about tax issues, Ravi tells Harry and Okie to up their game.

George Knight (Colin Salmon) is concerned that Kojo’s ‘new friend’ Okie has bought him an expensive watch.

George doesn’t want to be caught meddling, and is grateful when Elaine offers to suss the situation out.

But upon visiting Kojo at The Arches, he’s surrounded by a group of threatening lads who throw Elaine to the ground.

It’s Okie who shows up and chases the gang away, and George and Harry hear all about the heroics.

Kojo trusts Okie with a key to his flat, unaware that he’s already using it for his own gain.

As Harry goes on a date with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), Elaine and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) discover that George has a new woman – Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington).

But will George and Harry’s new romances with each other’s relatives distract them from seeing how Kojo is being taken advantage of?

Patrick returns home from the hospital, but he is struggling with anxiety.

Having been attacked by troubled teen Oscar Branning (played by Pierre Moullier), Patrick remains oblivious to the lad’s guilt.

Meanwhile, Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) feels awful when he realises how scared Patrick is as he tries to recover.
