The social media content creator thrilled fans when he revealed he was travelling to Merseyside for the first time. Announcing the visit last week, he said: “Tomorrow I’m continuing my journey to explore all of the UK. This time we’re headed back up north to a place I’ve been dying to go to. We are going to Liverpool for the first time. You guys know the drill.

“I need to know right now, where should I go, what is there to eat, where can I go to party. When you think of Liverpool, what comes up for you? I’m gonna be there.

“I am so excited man. I love the north. I have a feeling I’m not going to be able to understand a word that y’all are saying. The accent up there is crazy.”

Lark Lane received the most recommendations from Matt’s followers and the content creator was blown away by his visit. He shared a clip documenting his experience in L17 and described the lane as “heaven on earth.”

He added: “I’m going to be honest, rarely do I give out 10/10 experiences, but I think Lark Lane into Sefton Park is literally a 10/10. A million people told me to come here and I was like how good can it really be? it really is.”

Matt even laughed he’s now been inspired to raise a family in Liverpool, adding: “I’m honestly debating having kids here in Liverpool so they get a Scouse accent.”
