Wales forward Georgia Walters has joined Gwalia United from Blackburn Rovers.

The 32-year-old former Liverpool striker is the Welsh club’s fifth signing in preparation for their 2025-26 FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division campaign.

Walters, who has five Wales caps, began her career at Swindon Town and has also played for Reading and Tranmere Rovers, as well as two spells with Blackburn – playing last season in the FA Women’s Championship, now rebranded as WSL 2.

“Each year, the league gets harder and harder, and having experience in higher divisions can become invaluable,” said Walters.

“I know a couple of teammates from previous camps. I’m really excited with the project, and I really like the ambition of the club.”
