We’re surprised there isn’t more all-consuming hype around Fatekeeper right now, because this first-person fantasy RPG looks really bloody good in its debut trailer.
The game was announced during THQ Nordic’s showcase last weekend, but we just kind of ignored it since it’s only been confirmed for a PC early access release this winter. Upon proper investigation, though, we’re now praying that Fatekeeper eventually makes its way to PS5.
“Master the art of sword and sorcery in Fatekeeper, a first-person fantasy RPG with reactive combat, rich progression, and a handcrafted world,” reads the official description.
Indeed, there’s a heavy emphasis on action here, with weighty melee attacks and grimy enemy designs holding our attention.
Funnily enough, we have covered Fatekeeper before here on Push Square — but that was only because its pre-reveal trademark sparked speculation over it being a sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur. That’s certainly not the case, as it turns out.
What do you make of Fatekeeper? Keep an eye out for that early access launch, and then help push it towards PS5 in the comments section below.

He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he’s played ’em all. A little too much, some might say.
