The life of a travel writer can be a strange one. Depending on the assignment, I can find myself staying in a chic New York hotel, drinking fine wine in Ibiza, or relaxing in a spa in Switzerland.
But at my core, I’m an adventure travel writer and I know that experiences are so much better when you’ve earned them. Heading off on my multi-activity trip to the French Alps, I know that the world-famous French cuisine will taste even better when eaten with slightly sunburnt skin and a tired body.
