Aldi will open roughly one new store each week from now until the end of this year, bosses have confirmed. Following on from previously announced openings over the coming two months, such as Fulham Broadway in London and Deeside in Wales, the nation’s fourth-biggest grocer has now disclosed further locations in the pipeline.
Spanning from Pendle Drive in Litherland and Pacific Drive in Eastbourne, through to Brimington in Chesterfield and Shoreditch in London, every fresh branch will provide access to Aldi’s much-lauded signature Specialbuys and middle aisle.
Customers in Meadowfield in Durham and Ashford in Kent are likewise poised to welcome new Aldi outlets, whilst 35 existing branches nationwide will receive makeovers before the year concludes.

The chain is preparing to pump approximately £650 million into Britain via its store launch and renovation scheme throughout 2025, with each site generating roughly 40 fresh positions, all offering industry-leading wage packets.
Jonathan Neale, Managing Director of National Real Estate at Aldi UK, said: “At Aldi, our goal is to make sure people across the UK have access to affordable, high-quality food, and opening new stores is key to making that happen.
“We’re now opening an average of one new store a week for the rest of 2025, showing just how ambitious our plans are to build a store network that will help us reach millions of new customers. But it’s not just about openings – it’s also about making sure we have the best-paid teams in place to run them.”
Back in June, Aldi disclosed it was actively hunting for 1,000 fresh store staff as it accelerates its shop launch schedule through to the year’s end.
Fresh recruits will also cash in on Aldi’s status as Britain’s top-paying supermarket chain, with Shop Floor Workers poised to pocket from £13.00 hourly across the nation and from £14.33 within the M25 from September 2025 onwards.
