In a list of Britain’s “best burger joints”, The Times made mention of the Aubrey Street-based Burger Shop and its “top-quality” patties and scratch-made sauces.

The Burger Shop, owned by ART Hospitality, says it is “redefining what it means to craft a great burger”, and what sets them apart from other restaurants is their focus on “elevating” the burger experience.

Their approach is to use grass-fed, locally sourced beef and house-made sauces, stacking the toppings high and ensuring burgers are crafted with “precision, simplicity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.”

The business has seen recent “explosive success” on social media, now boasting over 100,000 followers on Instagram.

Their behind-the-scenes content, including videos showcasing their culinary processes, has gone viral with millions of hits.

Their most recent viral video, showing the meticulous process behind their signature house burger sauce, garnered 1.9 million views, with 1.4 million of those views coming in just a few days.

“We’re humbled to be part of the conversation with some of the best burger joints in the country,” said Rupert Davison, co-founder of Burger Shop.

“Our viral success has been a bit of a surprise to us, but it’s really humbling to see how people are responding to our passion for food and our commitment to making everything from scratch.

“It’s not just about burgers – it’s about crafting an experience that people want to share.”

The business says that they have become a “key player” in the city’s burger scene, and in a small city renowned for its beef, having not one, but two leading burger joints, who are just a five minute walk apart, is a “proud testament to the quality and talent of the local food scene”.

As well as a Hereford restaurant, the Burger Shop also has a Worcester joint in Farriers Street, with the same menu including their Hereford buttermilk chicken burger, their beef burger with Worcester Blue Cheese, and a kimchi beef burger.
