MP for Meriden, Saqib Bhatti, paid a visit to TLC Solihull on Monday, where he met with staff and service users at the organisation’s day centre.
The visit highlighted the critical work being carried out by the centre to support individuals living with dementia and older members of the local community.
TLC Solihull is a local care provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in the area. The organisation places equal emphasis on the wellbeing of its staff, recognising that a valued and supported workforce is essential to providing exceptional care. The centre promotes values of dignity, respect, inclusiveness, openness and equality, both for those receiving care and those delivering it.
During his visit, Mr. Bhatti spent time engaging with the team and those benefiting from the centre’s services, which include social activities aimed at reducing isolation and improving wellbeing for older people.
“It was a pleasure to visit the amazing team at TLC Solihull at their day centre where they support those suffering with dementia and other older members of society who might benefit from getting together, chatting, having a sing song and just having fun!” said Mr. Bhatti.
“I was so moved by the level of care, affection and attentiveness shown by Anita and her team. They have truly made a safe, secure and caring environment and I cannot thank them enough for what they are doing.”
TLC Solihull says it continues to strive towards becoming the leading home care service provider in the West Midlands, not just for the quality of care delivered to its service users, but also in creating a supportive, team-driven environment for its staff.
