Party guests were left stunned when two HUGE singing stars appeared as a major surprise at a Manchester woman’s 40th birthday bash.
Horror movie fan Roxsan Niebel planned a lavish Halloween-themed party for her big July birthday celebrations which was dubbed the “Roxy Horror Show”.
But there were only screams of joy from Roxsan’s family and friends when she arranged for two chart-topping stars to perform as a spectacular surprise during the party held at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
Roxsan had started the night with a dramatic entrance of her own though. As her 200 guests settled into their seats, two ballerinas dressed all in black danced into the room, before four hooded figures appeared, Traitors-style, to follow them.

Taking the hood off one of the ghostly figures revealed birthday girl Roxsan, dressed in a dramatic white feathered dress with slashes of glittering red on the bodice, for a spooky take on a white swan, to whoops and cheers from her friends.
Guests then tucked in to a gothic dinner with a “Lover’s curse” theme, complete with a spot of entertainment from a Donald Trump impersonator, while rooms at the party had spooky dollshouse themes and even a freak show maze.
And then came the first surprise of the night – as singing star Paloma Faith took to the stage amid gasps from Roxsan’s family and friends.
Lullaby star Paloma was fully on board with the gothic glamour theme, wearing her own gothic ensemble of black and green, while she opted for spooky-eye make-up as she sang up a storm.

She then called Roxsan up on stage to sing Happy Birthday to the delight of the party.
But just when guests thought the surprises were over, then out came chart-topping star Craig David to perform on stage.
He led the party in singalongs of his huge chart hits, as well as serenading Roxsan and Chris on stage.
Manchester entrepreneurs Roxsan and husband Chris, who runs The Genius Group, worked with leading Manchester event planner Rebecca Hartley of Saving Grace Events on the lavish celebration bash.

Rebecca said: “Roxsan loves horror and Halloween, she wanted a horror themed party for her July birthday, so we came up with the concept of Roxy Horror Show to play on that.
“She’s a really great client, she let us get on with it which was a real treat for us as it’s not often that you have such flexibility.
“Victoria Warehouse was completely transformed, we had the entrance with fire-breathers, and as guests walked in there were hands coming out of staircases.
“Guests walked through a graveyard with tombs saying: “Here lies Roxsan’s youth”, while there was a tattooist and tarot card reader people could visit through the night.

“We had lots of actors and performers to keep with the theme, a freak show maze, and ringmasters welcoming them in.
“Roxsan had such a dramatic entrance, coming in with four Traitors-style performes who led her in and she was dehooded on the dancefloor!
“It was so extra but a lot of fun, and the biggest thing for Roxsan is that she wanted everyone to have an amazing time.”

Talking of the superstar guests, Rebecca said: “Paloma Faith performed and even sang happy birthday to Roxsan which was lovely, then Craig David was the final surprise performance before an after-party.
“He was actually so brilliant, he interacted with Roxsan and Chris, he was so nice and took photos with our team.”
