Leeds United and Fulham are reportedly keen on signing Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi this summer.
Patrick Bamford appears to be on his way out of Leeds, making it imperative to sign a replacement.
Mateo Joseph has also been linked with an Elland Road exit and his departure would potentially leave the Whites two strikers shy for next season.

According to Sportmediaset journalist Orazio Accomando (7 August), the Whites have opened talks with the Serie A outfit for the Iran international.
The 33-year-old has snubbed a move to Brazil, with Botafogo and Flamengo both keen on securing his services.
Fulham are also keen on Taremi, but Leeds are ahead of them in the race to seal the transfer.
As things stand, the striker’s departure from Inter Milan is inevitable, given the growing interest in his services.

Leeds United must look for younger and fitter options to lead the line
Leeds will be taking a risk by signing Taremi, given his age and injury issues.
Aiming to avoid relegation, they urgently need a young, dynamic striker to lead their attack.
A forward in their early-to-mid-20s, with pace, fitness and goal-scoring instinct, could deliver the double-digit goals required to compete in the top flight, while growing with the squad under Daniel Farke’s system.
Taremi’s career stats.
Taremi scored just one league goal for Inter last season and has a history of inconsistent fitness.
His age and declining physicality make him ill-suited for the Premier League’s intensity, and his potentially high salary demands add financial risk.
Leeds should prioritise a younger, hungrier talent to spearhead their attack and ensure sustained competitiveness in the 2025/26 season and beyond.
