SOLIHULL WEST and Shirley MP has thrown his support behind Morrisons Every Pack Gives Back campaign.
The initiative, in partnership with Marie Curie sees donations from selected yellow-labelled products – both online and in store until August 28 – go directly towards funding vital hospice care, nursing support, and end of life services across the country.
Dr Shastri-Hurst said: “As an advocate for improved palliative and end of life care, I commend this initiative. It represents a meaningful partnership between business and charity in support of those most in need.”
Morrisons has pledged to raise £15million for Marie Curie by October 2027. To date, £2.6million has already been raised since the partnership began in November 2024.
David Scott, corporate affairs director from Morrisons, said: “We are proud to be supporting Marie Curie across our supermarkets and online with our Every Pack Gives Back initiative, where customers can help to improve end of life care with every participating product they buy.
“There has been a great response from the community in Solihull and we were delighted to welcome our local MP Dr Shastri-Hurst to our store to see the campaign in action.”
