West Midlands Police are asking for help in locating a man they want to talk to following a robbery in Birmingham, where a woman in her 90s was injured. 

The incident happened in the Kitts Green area of Birmingham at around midday on Monday, July 21, and saw a man allowed into the woman’s home after pretending to be her gardener.

Inside, the man searched the house and the woman’s handbag, and some paperwork was stolen. 

Sadly, the woman suffered an injury to her arm as the man left the house. 

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact West Midlands Police directly. 

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’re in contact with the woman and her family, and we’re carrying out a thorough investigation, including a review of CCTV around the area.

“If you recognise him, or have any information which could help our investigation, please call us on 101 quoting crime reference number 20/317343/25.”
