Sahyu, 1 hour agoits may be a joke for you but not for everyone.A flagship device, with a powerful and power hungry SoC that has a 3900mAh battery in 2025, is nothing, but a joke.

Ultra Sales

S25 Ultra = 8,390,000

Xiaomi 15 Ultra = 586,000

Oppo Find X8 Ultra = 210,000

Vivo X200 Ultra = 219,000

“Galaxy S25 Ultra sold 8x more than current Ultra phones OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi combined” lol even the crappy s25 edge sold 650,000 units eventhough its still behind plus.

Outdated design no major overhauling same thing they are selling from s22 series nothing was ground breaking i think these higher sales news are for marketing purposes I know s25 series Is the most flop series prices has been drop dramatically to increase the sales but still no body is buying them specially people with technical knowledge

Compared to Nokia 1100, 3210 and 3310 samsng sales are real garbage.

Just saying.

Past 6 years all phones by samsung are litterary the same just tweaks and mnor improvements here and there nice green line add on to screen and lovely blur to camera photos othervise not much to talk about.

so is gonna be (pro/edge/ultra) 😀

Fair, but if the Pro wouldn’t be a thing, then more people would get the Ultra, there isn’t enough difference between the two, and the Pro is already top of the line, so people don’t feel the need to get the Ultra.

imtiredokay, 2 hours agoThank you. Currently rocking iQOO Neo9 with OriginOS 5 China. The camera is above average but … moreIt depends on what tests you look at. On WiFi or on 5G.

How much more SoT do you expect from a ~20 percent larger battery? 50 percent more SoT? No way! That ~20 percent more battery gives ~15-20 percent more SoT on Mobile Data, which is what it should be.

It’s clear that Oppo has “learned its lesson” and the 1+15 is a downgrade to the 13, except for the better processor.

The camera is above average but the battery is not good (5150 mAh) and it only lasts the same as my iPhone SE 2020 and I have to charge it 3 times a day. The OS is unstable, RAM overflows usually happens. Even Chinese users has to argee that it is a resources-hunger UI. It does explain a lot why X200Ultra only last longer than S25 ultra in less than an hour, despite 1000 mAh bigger. And also it is why people are buying Samsung, despite the OneUI 7 aesthetic does look childlish.

DarlingYext, 2 hours agoVivo’s problem is that they have the X200 Pro as well, which is an excellent device, but … moreIt’s the ultra model that shouldn’t exist if you go by sales. The x200pro has sold multiples of the x200ultra in China where they are both available. The x200 ultra is simply too expensive and not many people are willing to spend that much money on a Vivo. People generally in cities in China view Vivo as a brand for ‘poorer’ people. I don’t believe this is right but it’s true (I’ve been told it before more than once). Most Chinese spending people that money are just going to go for Apple (in the highest numbers), then Huawei and after that Xiaomi (Xiaomi is gaining ground fast in the high end market due to the popularity of their cars raising their profile). Not many people are willing to buy the top models for Vivo or OPPO at the moment (it doesn’t matter how good they are as the brand image is crucial to sell). That’s just how it is. People who are really into phones are different but they are the minority.

DarlingYext, 2 hours agoThe X200 Ultra is a China only device, whereas the S25 Edge is sold in multiple countries. But isn’t China the biggest smartphone market ???? 🤭

But Vivo can count on me, I have made them one more X200U sale !

Oh, so the problem is that the better S25 trio has launched months prior to the Edge? No, that’s not the problem, the issue is that it’s a worse device than the S25+, but for more money, so it simply doesn’t make sense to buy.

DarlingYext, 2 hours agoThe X200 Ultra is a China only device, whereas the S25 Edge is sold in multiple countries. It’s China only due to Vivo’s own business decision not to sell it globally as they know it won’t sell globally. If they expected it to sell globally they would launch it. They are a business after all and their goal is to make money. Being globally available would not have any meaningful effect on the sale numbers for the Vivo x200 ultra.

Which is good. Because my words were confirmed that companies like Samsung will only improve their phones if sales are declining. And we see how there is news about improvements in the 26 Edge, and not just a new processor and a change in the number.
