Leeds United are set to announce another loan exit this transfer window, as Joe Gelhardt is on his way to Hull City.
Max Wober joined Werder Bremen temporarily for the 2025/26 campaign, but the centre-back has already suffered an injury scare in Germany.
Mateo Joseph is also in Mallorca to complete a season-long loan to the LaLiga outfit after telling Daniel Farke he didn’t want to play at Elland Road next season.
Gelhardt wanted the move to Hull, but despite the prospect of him returning to LS11 next year, the Englishman may never play for the Peacocks again.

Leeds have agreed to let Hull sign Gelhardt on loan, according to the YEP.
The news outlet reports (8 August) that the Whites initially wanted the 23-year-old to leave permanently, but have settled for his temporary move away from Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that the Tigers were keen on the English centre-forward and wanted to get a deal over the line quickly, with a transfer close to completion.

Gelhardt could potentially feature against Coventry City on Saturday (9 August) as he’s set to join up with Hull’s squad for their opening game of the season.
The English striker spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan at the MKM Stadium as they narrowly escaped relegation from the Championship.
With the West Yorkshire outfit competing in the Premier League, it makes sense for Gelhardt to look for opportunities elsewhere.

With the Whites wanting to sell Gelhardt permanently at Elland Road, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them cash in on him next summer.
Farke has lost a lot of depth up front now that Joseph is also about to leave, and attacking replacements will undoubtedly be needed at Leeds.
- Joel Piroe was the first-choice number nine last season.
- Joseph struggled for regular minutes in the Championship.
- Leeds have signed Lukas Nmecha this summer.
While Patrick Bamford has seemingly been out of the German manager’s plans, the Whites may look to keep him and add further reinforcements up front.
Roma striker Artem Dovbyk has been one of the names linked with the West Yorkshire outfit, but only time will tell who will join Farke’s squad before the end of August.
