A man was taken to hospital on Friday night after walking into a pub in Kingswood with a stab wound, police have reported.
The incident was reported shortly before 10pm on Friday, August 8, on Two Mile Hill Road in Kingswood.
Police have confirmed the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers were called by the ambulance service at around 9.50pm to a pub in Two Mile Hill Road, in Kingswood, yesterday evening (Friday 8 August).
“The victim had presented at the pub with a knife-like wound and was taken to hospital by paramedics, where he remains. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.
“An investigation is underway and two people have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
“They remain in police custody.”
Police are now asking for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious, or anyone who may have relevant footage of the incident, to call 101 and give the reference 5225224177.
South Western Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
