Liam Gallagher delivered a message to Oasis fans at their second Edinburgh performance on Saturday (August 9).
As the Burnage brothers opened the show with Hello, Liam followed up by acknowledging the 70,000 supporters in attendance.
He told devoted followers: “We have missed you too.” Acquiesce followed and the stadium was bounding.
Thousands eagerly awaited the Edinburgh shows after tickets were snapped up last year, reports Edinburgh Live.
The UK tour began on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. Oasis’ third Edinburgh concert will be on August 12.
It came after Dwayne Yuill got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Shell Hodge at Friday’s show (August 8).
Thrilled Shell, 40, said: “I was singing along and the next thing Dwayne’s on one knee holding out a ring. I wondered what the hell was going on at first because I couldn’t hear anything above the music.
“When I saw the ring, he didn’t need to say anything. I just said ‘yes’ and we’re both over the moon.”
