Shop manager Elizabeth said: “I had the idea of taking part in an organised event a few months ago.
“We have been training by walking up to 70 miles per week, and have the blisters to prove it!
“Children all over the world and in the UK are facing such unprecedented difficulties that it is so important that we stand up, in whatever way we can, be it fundraising, volunteering or through donations.

Volunteer Judith said: “As I haven’t lived in Scotland for long, it’s been a great way to make new friends.
“Taking part in the Kiltwalk for Save the Children is a good way to raise funds for a fantastic cause and it will be wonderful to see more of the streets of Edinburgh on, what I am sure will be, an incredible day.”
The Kiltwalk takes place on Sunday, September 14.
