According to a royal expert, Harry and Meghan have hired a brand new PR team to make them more likable, and what better way to improve the public’s opinion of you than by clearing years of bad karma?
To achieve this, years of taunting, accusing and downplaying the Royal Family will have to be swept under the rug like it never happened. So they’ve chosen to become friends again with the Royal Family. I don’t see how that can blow up in anybody’s face.
Perhaps it’s the royal association that they need more than the proposed reconciliation, but oh well, 2025’s far from being over yet.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Want To Move the Dial “In Terms of Their Relationship” with the Royal Family
The British Royal Family has spent years dealing with the massive fallout of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, so it’s funny that the same duo who up and left and cussed and cursed are the same ones offering olive branches.
In fact, Harry reportedly promised to share his engagement diary if it would score him some good boy points with his father and brother. I feel like somehow all this royal drama has transitioned into some cheesy rom-com. Oh well, I’m still here for it.
According to Jack Royston, this drive from Sussex camp for reconciliation might stem from a new PR direction.
“I think the reason behind it is fundamentally because Harry had a clear-out, and Meghan had a clear-out of their PR team on both sides of the Atlantic,” Royston said on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show. “They brought new people in who have come with new energy and a real determination to move the dial in terms of public opinion, move the dial in terms of media coverage of the Sussexes, and, that comes with it, move the dial in terms of the relationship with the palace.”
If you can recall, Harry and Meghan surprised fans a few months back when they cut most of their communications team, including the social media manager for Meghan’s blossoming Instagram account.
The new PR team seem to have found a winning strategy. We’ll just have to wait and see how far this goes.
