A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after colliding with a car during a police chase.
The driver of a VW Passat ignored an order to stop by officers and sped off just before 1.30pm on Sunday (August 10).
A short pursuit ensued and the Passat collided with another vehicle at the junction of Coventry Road and Barrows Lane.
The driver, in his 20s, fled on foot but was quickly detained and arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
No other injuries were reported.

The force helicopter and police motorbikes were also scrambled to the incident.
WMP said: “We’ve arrested a man in Sheldon, Birmingham, this afternoon after a collision at just before 1.30pm.
“A VW Passat had failed to stop for officers a few minutes earlier and following a short pursuit it collided with a car at the junction of Barrows Road and Coventry Road.
“No one reported any injuries to us and after a short foot chase a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.
“He remains in custody as enquiries continue.”
