‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ Actress Unrecognizable 40 Years After Iconic ’80s Film originally appeared on Parade.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star Mia Sara was unrecognizable in recent photos 40 years after filming the iconic ’80s movie.
In June, the actress, 58, stepped out for a special screening of The Life Of Chuck at Hollywood Legion Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
Photos from the red carpet showed Sara donning an all black-outfit, accessorizing with large dangling earrings and a coordinating statement bracelet. She wore her hair a natural gray-to-brown ombre.
Those who know Sara as Ferris Bueller’s (Matthew Broderick) girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, likely did a double-take, as the actress looked nothing like her character in the beloved 1986 movie.

In addition to Sara and Broderick, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off starred Alan Ruck, Jeffrey Jones, Jennifer Grey, Cindy Pickett,Lyman Ward, Edie McClurg, Charlie Sheen and more.
Sara is also known for her roles in the films Legend (1985) and Timecop (1994), as well as in the TV series Birds of Prey.
Today, she is married to Brian Henson, with whom she shares a daughter, Amelia. Sara was previously married to Sean Connery, and they welcomed a son, Dashiell.
