The former Hoops defender managed to Slide Away to Edinburgh to catch the Gallagher brothers perform as part of their Live’25 reunion tour.

Posing with his wife, Alana, Charlie beamed from the stadium’s seats as he said the band were “different class.”

Poking fun at himself, he also said: “Don’t know how I got my head into @soulpilates.glasgow bucket hat, but what a night.”

Responding to the post, the Glasgow Pilates business said: “*How you got the hair in.”

The cheeky response was met with good humour by Charlie, who admitted: “There are a few pics where it looks like a witch’s hat.”

Charlie recently predicted that Rangers will close the gap on Celtic, who are not in “brilliant shape.”

He’s a fan of the way new Gers boss Russell Martin wants to play football and thinks “it’ll be a lot tighter than it’s been” in the league.

It comes as a swathe of stars have attended the sought-after gigs, many of them donning their Celtic tops as part of their concert outfits.

We reported that Noel Gallagher’s daughter wore a Celtic top as she watched her dad perform at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield.

Anais Gallagher, who is Noel’s daughter with Meg Mathews, shared a picture on her Instagram story of her wearing a Celtic zip-up in the audience.

We also reported that Gene Gallagher, Liam Gallagher’s son, was spotted wearing a Hoops jersey at Saturday’s show.

In a picture shared on Instagram by the 24-year-old, he could be seen showing his support for the Glasgow side while rocking a smart pair of sunglasses and an Oasis lanyard.
