Daniel Farke is widely regarded as having spent well in this summer’s transfer window in preparation for Leeds United’s return to the Premier League.
The German manager has recruited the likes of Anton Stach, who bossed the midfield against AC Milan on Saturday.
Sean Longstaff has been signed from Newcastle, while Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Sebastiaan Bornauw are expected to strengthen the defence.
Lukas Nmecha has been signed on a free transfer from Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, the new goalkeeper Lucas Perri arrives at Elland Road with a sterling reputation.
Leeds’ first Premier League fixture is against Everton, who perhaps until a few days ago were widely believed to be experiencing a poor summer in terms of transfers.

Toffees boss David Moyes had recently admitted he was getting ‘desperate’ to sign new players as the new Premier League season approached.
At that point, he had only brought in Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers and Adam Aznou.
Since then, he has paid a reported £24million plus add-ons for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea.
According to Transfermarkt, that takes Everton’s summer spending up to around £72m, compared to Leeds’ £68m.

Moyes has signed one of Europe’s most exciting young strikers in Barry, a Brazilian playmaker in Alcaraz and a teenage left-back from Bayern Munich.
A reserve goalkeeper proven in the Premier League as well. It was still enough for him bemoan his luck in the transfer window.
Now he’s captured Dewsbury-Hall, he’s spent more than Leeds who almost everyone believes have had a great window.

Everton are hot on the heels of Southampton’s Tyler Dibling as well. That could be enough £40m on a proven midfield star, although they’re trying to negotiate a lower price.
This all goes to highlight the ridiculous levels of spending in the Premier League, and what’s needed to keep up.
It’s no wonder then that Leeds fans are keen for Frank to splash some more cash before his side goes head-to-head with Everton on Monday night.
