1. John twists the knife as Robert feels guilty
ITV
Robert hates himself over a brief moment where he lost his temper with his nephew Harry. The incident took place thanks to John sneakily triggering Robert’s PTSD – and he causes further problems by exaggerating what happened in a conversation with Victoria.
John visits Robert and slyly points out that he seems to have lost both Victoria and Aaron. The harsh words hit home, as Robert is overwhelmed by feelings of self-loathing.
2. Robert and Aaron give into temptation

Robert smashes up his room as his turmoil boils over, but Aaron interrupts and stops him. Dropping his own guard, Aaron admits that he’s been pushing Robert away because he still has feelings for him.
The former couple give into temptation, sharing a passionate kiss which quickly leads to more…
3. Aaron regrets cheating on John

The next morning, Aaron vows that his passionate reunion with Robert was strictly a one-off mistake.
Robert thinks otherwise, wrongly believing that Aaron has now chosen him over John. Aaron realises he’s created a total mess, as Robert is full of fresh hope that they’re destined to be together.
4. Nate’s case is re-opened

Liam learns that Nate’s murder investigation has been re-opened, as an inconsistency has been spotted in the fake suicide note that John wrote to frame Owen.
John feels stressed and guilty, especially when he sees that the news is taking a toll on Cain and Tracy.
5. Aaron plots a double departure
ITV
Aaron confides in Mack about how he’s now cheated on John twice since Robert was released from prison. Although he hasn’t been John’s biggest fan, Mack is annoyed with Aaron for risking his marriage like this.
In the end, Aaron decides that he needs a fresh start and suggests to John that they should leave the village. The suggestion couldn’t be any better for John, who wants to escape the heat over Nate’s death.
6. John makes a sinister phone call

Chas struggles over John and Aaron’s plans to head off together. Despite this, the idea is finalised and Liam agrees that John can take some holiday leave from the surgery.
In private, John continues to stress about the Nate investigation. As the pressure mounts, he makes a very chilling phone call…
7. Mack is plunged into turmoil
ITV
Mack gets upset when Charity doesn’t remember the three-year anniversary of when they sadly lost their baby. After drowning his sorrows, Mack confronts Charity over the date’s significance.
As Mack rants, he finally admits that he still has a problem with the surrogacy plan. Charity responds by kicking Mack out and cutting all contact with him. Is their marriage over?
8. Another loose end is tied up in the Nate case

Police attention in the Nate investigation shifts back to why his belongings were taken away from the village when he was already dead. When the removal man responsible shows up, Tracy shows him a photo of Nate and her suspicions grow as the guy doesn’t recognise him.
Later, the removal man is questioned by the police and mysteriously confirms Owen as the person who paid him to move Nate’s things. This seems to solidify the theory of Owen’s guilt – and even Robert is forced to drop his suspicions. But how has John engineered this last-minute reprieve?
9. Mack’s discovery could change everything

While Mack is in turmoil over his broken marriage to Charity, he discovers a clue which relates to the Nate case.

10. Moira receives devastating news
ITV
Celia breaks some terrible news to Moira, explaining that their recently-signed contract has fallen through. The hotel will only offer half of the money they’re owed, leaving them totally out of pocket.
Celia admits that she’s planning to turn her back on farming after this setback – and she encourages Moira to cut her losses by making the same decision. Will Moira take the advice?
11. Dylan is tempted by Ray’s money

Dylan struggles to find a job in the local area, so it’s tempting when Ray gets in touch offering “easy money” to carry out further drug deals.
Before long, Dylan crumbles under the pressure and agrees to Ray’s latest offer, although he feels terrible for lying to April about it.
12. Vinny struggles to move on from Mike’s attack

Vinny is caught in a web of deceit after being attacked by Mike. He’s forced to lie to Gabby over what happened to their stolen wedding rings, all the while trying to rebuild his confidence after what happened.
Later, the police visit Vinny as part of an investigation into Mike, whose real name is Graham. It turns out that the police are investigating Graham for extortion, which means that the details of his crime against Vinny could soon come to light. Will Vinny get in there first by telling Gabby the truth?
13. Kammy and Belle get closer
ITV
Kammy feels awkward when Cain sends him off to fix Belle’s car. The timing is difficult after recent problems between Kammy and Belle.
Fortunately, Belle soon gives Kammy some welcome news, suggesting that they could try another lunch date.
