A-Level results day is here and thousands of students across Wales will be finding out their results after all that hard work – they deserve a treat!

A-Level results day is fast approaching, and students across Wales are eagerly awaiting the outcome of their hard work.
Regardless of the results, it’s a time to celebrate – whether that’s marking the end of school or looking forward to what comes next. And what better way to do so than by taking advantage of the various deals, offers, and freebies available?
A number of well-known brands are offering discounts or free items on A-Level results day, which falls on Thursday, August 14, as well as GCSE results day a week later on Thursday, August 21.
We’ve put together a list of the best ones – from Frankie and Benny’s to Bill’s and Nando’s. Here are the top deals you can claim on A-Level results day and how to do so.

Frankie and Benny’s
Frankie and Benny’s is treating students to a free margherita pizza in celebration of exam results. For one day only, A-level and GCSE students can order a complimentary margherita pizza when they purchase any soft drink at participating Frankie and Benny’s outlets.
The offer is valid all day on Thursday, August 14, for A-level students and all day on Thursday, August 21, for GCSE students. To claim their free pizza, which usually costs £11.75, students need to present proof of their 2025 exam results when dining in.
The complimentary pizza offer is exclusively available at participating outlets. Whilst this promotion runs at the majority of branches, it does not extend to airport sites, Covent Garden, or London Paddington.
The deal may be suspended during special events, so it’s advisable to telephone beforehand if you’re planning to visit event venues such as Cardiff St David’s, Sheffield Meadowhall, Oxford, and Sheffield.
The promotion encompasses one complimentary margherita pizza per student alongside the purchase of a soft drink. The deal cannot be combined with collection or delivery services, nor used alongside any other promotional offers.
Nando’s
Nando’s ‘Results Day Dash’ has returned and provides a complimentary 1/4 chicken or starter when students present their student identification and results at the counter. The promotional days will occur on Thursday, August 14 (A-Levels) and Thursday, August 21 (GCSE), applicable across Wales, Northern Ireland and England.
Patrons must spend £7 or above and place orders at the till for dine-in or walk-in service.
Bird and Blend
On A-Level results day (Thursday, August 14), Bird and Blend will be distributing complimentary iced matcha lattes to every Cardiff student valued at £4.50. Beverages can be claimed between 11am and 5pm.
The offer is limited to one drink per individual and customers can select from an array of over 20 “magical” matcha varieties. Complimentary beverages will be accessible at all Bird and Blend locations, including the Royal Arcade branch in Cardiff.
Wagamama

Wagamama is set to increase its student discount from 20% to 25% for a full week. This means that A-Level students can avail of the discount from Thursday, August 14 until Wednesday, August 20.
For GCSE students, the discount will be applicable from Thursday, August 21 until Wednesday, August 27. To take advantage of this offer, students need to download and join the loyalty app soul club, show it along with their results to the Wagamama staff.
Please note, this offer excludes airports and is only valid for dine-in customers.
Bella Italia
At Bella Italia, students can enjoy a complimentary starter and dessert in celebration of GCSE and A Level results days. All you’ll need to do is present proof of receiving results to a server upon arrival.
While the offer is available on Thursday, August 14 (A Level results day) and Thursday, August 21 (GCSE results day), the offer applies to the entire table, not just the student.
Banana Tree

Students can celebrate their A-Level results on Thursday, August 14, with a free chicken or tofu pad Thai when they sign up to claim a voucher, which can be done here. Alternatively, for GCSE results day on Thursday, August 21, students can claim a free chicken or vegan Katsu Curry when they sign up to claim a voucher, which can also be done here.
With a pad Thai typically priced at £15 and a katsu curry around £16, this appears to be a rather good deal. Each offer is only valid on the respective results day, and you’ll need to present the voucher along with proof of your results to a staff member when ordering.
This offer does not apply to delivery.
TGI Fridays

Students can celebrate with a complimentary main meal at TGI Friday, but they must dine with someone who orders a full-price adult main. All you’ll need to do is show your exam results and say “grads eat free”.
Students can claim this freebie from Sunday to Thursday throughout August, with the final day to claim the offer being Thursday, 28 August.
For your free meal, you can choose any main course from the following sections of the menu – Bangin’ Burgers, Signature Stacks or Fridays Favourites, which would normally set you back £16 to £20.
The offer does not include items from the Hot Off The Grill section. This deal can only be used once during the offer period, and is not available for click and collect, delivery or takeaway orders.
Bill’s
Bill’s has confirmed that they are offering a complimentary dessert for students who dine at their restaurant on Thursday, 14 August (A Level results day) and Thursday, 21 August (GCSE results day). All you’ll need to do is book a table, order a meal and show your results to your server to claim the offer.
Côte Brasserie
This restaurant chain is rewarding pupils who studied French with a complimentary steak frites or vegan burger on Thursday, August 14, or Thursday, August 21, simply by presenting their French A-Level or GCSE results.
Students who didn’t take French needn’t worry, as those with results from any other A-Level or GCSE subject can still enjoy a free dessert.
Simply present your results to claim your treat, though bookings must be made for Thursday, August 14, or Thursday, August 31.
The complimentary Steak Frites or Vegan Burger requires the purchase of one full-price adult prix fixe or à la carte main course, with similar conditions applying to the free dessert offer alongside one full-price à la carte main dish.
Las Iguanas
Las Iguanas is marking GCSE and A-Level results with complimentary churros for students presenting their grades.
Running from Thursday, August 14 through Thursday, August 21, 2025, pupils can enjoy a free single serving of churros upon showing their GCSE or A-Level results.
A Las Iguanas spokesperson commented: “We know Results Day can be full of nerves and excitement and we’re here to make it memorable for all the right reasons. Whether you’re celebrating top grades or just giving yourself a pat on the back, free churros are our way of saying, you did it!”.
The promotion excludes Centre Parcs venues and may not be available during special events at O2, Wembley, Resorts World, Cardiff Mill Lane and Brindley Place locations.
Pizza Express
From Monday, 4 August to Sunday, 14 August, A-Level students can commemorate their results day with a complimentary dessert at Pizza Express. To avail of the free dessert, students must purchase a main and present a valid UNiDays results day offer code to the staff.
The offer is valid for dine-in from Sunday to Friday during the promotional period.
