A suspect is in custody on suspicion of murder after a man was tragically stabbed to death inside a Birmingham home.
Police were called to the stabbing at an address in South Road, Hockley, shortly after 5.15pm on Friday, August 15.
A man inside was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.

A 40-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Detectives said he remained in custody this afternoon.
A cordon was in place across two terrace properties in the street following the man’s death.

A mum-of-three, who lives just off South Road, said last night’s tragedy was “frightening”.“It’s really worried me and my husband,” she told BirminghamLive.“We have three children and nothing can ever happen to them.”The parent said she was praying for the family of the man who died.
A dad who lives on South Road said: ” The Police came quite quickly, and they closed off the road.
“It is worrying. You read about these sorts of things online but you never expect it to happen a few doors down.”
West Midlands Police has urged anyone with information about this incident to contact the force.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called to a house on South Road at just after 5.15pm.
“Tragically, nothing could be done to revive the man and he was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
“A 40-year-old man was arrested from the address on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
“We’re in the early stages of our investigation and a police scene remains in place.
“We’d ask for anyone with information to contact us via 101 and quote log 4380 of 15 August.”
