Officers responded to the Garfield Street area at around 10pm on Friday following reports of an assault. 

A 33-year-old man was then taken to hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10pm on Friday, August 15, 2025, officers received a report of an assault on Garfield Street, Glasgow.

“Officers attended, and a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
