Gr-aphic Studio, based in Salisbury, is a one-man creative design studio run by Gareth Robertson and has made it to the finals of the UK Small Business Awards in the Best Home-Based Business category.
The studio partners with businesses to create bold and unique brands.
Mr Robertson shared his excitement about the recognition, saying: “As a one-man micro studio, it can be tough to get exposure on a national level.

“When I opened my email today, I was thrilled to see I had been shortlisted.”
Mr Robertson highlighted the importance of recognition for both the creative work and the effort involved in building a business from home.
He has been running his studio from a purpose-built workspace in Salisbury since the pandemic.
He said: “I have run my studio from a purpose-built workspace since we moved to Salisbury during the pandemic, and I am proud to have done so for half a decade.”
With a focus on keeping overheads low and maintaining agility, working from home was always part of Mr Robertson’s vision.
He said: “After years of renting offices, I realised it was the wrong fit for me. I did not want to sink money into rent.”
The UK Small Business Awards Gala Dinner will take place in Birmingham on Saturday, December 13.
