For those who might be approaching the end of their broadband contract or have already concluded their contracts, it could be more economical to consider other options.
One provider worth considering is Sky, as it has reduced its broadband prices across the board in a bid to compete with other providers offering much cheaper deals.
Our top recommendation would be the £30 per month 500mb broadband package, ideal for large families constantly streaming or downloading games. This package comes with no upfront fees and includes a high-speed router to ensure coverage throughout the home.
Sky has also slashed the price of its 300 MB broadband package to £26 per month. However, we would advise opting for the 500 MB package for faster speeds.
It’s important to note that these are 24-month contracts, so internet deal seekers should be prepared for this commitment, reports the Mirror.
Another point to bear in mind is that it’s usually more cost-effective to bundle a TV and broadband deal from Sky, so if you’re also in the market for a new TV package, it’s worth investigating.

PlusNet is also offering shoppers a free £100 reward card with its broadband packages, with prices starting from £24.99 a month. There’s also Vodafone, which has competitive broadband deals for most people around the country, and Vodafone will pay up to £100 to cover cancellation fees.
Sky has garnered excellent feedback, particularly regarding its broadband service. One customer remarked: “Internet is so much faster but I am seriously so chuffed with the Sky Rewards thing, we’ve had free tickets to Legoland and we won tickets to see Slayer! I couldn’t believe it, very very pleased.”

Nevertheless, certain subscribers remain dissatisfied, particularly regarding customer support. One customer noted: “After being a customer for 9 years, I have to say the quality of broadband and TV service is good, very reliable even on fibre when there are many devices connected.
