Police were called to Gants Hill roundabout at around 12pm on Sunday (August 17) after reports of a man injured.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with a stab wound to his hand – who was later taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police has confirmed that the man is in a stable condition and that enquiries are ongoing.

The spokesperson said: “Police were called at around midday to Gants Hill to reports of a man injured.
“Officers attended and found a man with a stab wound to his hand.
“He was taken to hospital in a stable condition. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Gants Hill roundabout was blocked after the police incident, with delays on the A12 Eastern Avenue.
