After 12 years as director of Twenty3 Consulting, Robert Varney joins Sheffield-based quantity surveyors and expert witnesses, Overford. Rob, a specialist MEP expert, former board director of Inviron and ABB made the announcement to clients of Twenty3 consulting in an email today, stating that, “from 1st September 2025, Twenty3 Consulting will be operating under the banner of Overford”.
Overford, with offices in Sheffield, Leeds, York, London and Manchester, provide advice and guidance on commercial and contractual issues in construction. The firm was established in 2021 by Guy Jackson and Jason Sharp. The pair have since grown the business to a team of nine dedicated specialists, supporting clients with commercial management, project controls, claims and dispute resolution.
Varney brings over 35 years of experience in the construction sector as a commercial and legal director, with expertise in MEP and HVAC systems. He will play a key role in further developing the firm’s growing portfolio of expert witness and consultancy services.
