Alejandro Garnacho has not been part of the Manchester United squad since Ruben Amorim’s side initially reported for pre-season training in July.

After being frozen out of the Manchester United first-team under Ruben Amorim, Alejandro Garnacho has been transfer-listed, which has led to him training on his own at Carrington.

Garnacho has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Chelsea, which means United may need to sell a player with incredible talent to a direct rival.

Chelsea remain interested in Garnacho, but they have yet to reach an agreement with United as the player’s valuation may prove to be a stumbling block.

Since Garnacho is under contract at United until 2028, the Red Devils won’t want to lose the Argentina international on the cheap.

United outcast Garnacho won’t feature in Argentina’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

After being left out of pre-season preparations, Garnacho missed the Premier League opener as United lost 1-0 against Arsenal.

Now, Garnacho is set to face some consequences for not playing regular football.

Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni has opted to leave Garnacho out of the latest national team squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Ecuador in September.

Garnacho has not been called up to the Argentina squad this year, although the United academy graduate has made 8 appearances for the current world champions.

The 21-year-old has yet to score for Argentina and now must work his way into Scaloni’s plans.

Scaloni can’t be expected to pick a player who is not playing football, especially when he has an array of options in attack.

Garnacho risks missing out on place in World Cup squad

Being left out of the Argentina national team again should raise alarm bells for Garnacho and his entourage to find a new club.

The World Cup takes place in the United States next summer.

Unless Garnacho finds a new club and improves his output on the pitch, the Chelsea target won’t be part of Scaloni’s squad next summer.

It’s a big season for Garnacho, regardless of where he will eventually end up, after scoring 11 goals in 58 appearances for United last term.
