A first-floor flat was left partially destroyed yesterday evening (Monday, 18 August) after flames ripped through a building in Dulwich.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the fire on Dog Kennel Hill in East Dulwich. Most of a first-floor flat above a barber shop was damaged by fire.
There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 11:44 pm and mobilised crews from Peckham, New Cross and Old Kent Road fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 11:30.
A spokesperson said: “The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
