Being cleared to play following his scary exit against Latvia, Luka Doncic returned better than ever for Slovenia in the preparation game against Great Britain.
The Los Angeles Lakers phenomenon dropped a double-double of 28 points and 10 assists in his team’s victory, leading his country to the 93-81 win.
He was followed by Gregor Hrovat’s 15 points and Klemen Prepelic’s 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
This was Slovenia’s first preparation victory ahead of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 after four consecutive losses.
On Great Britain’s side, five players finished in double-digits: Tarik Philipp and Myles Hesson with 12 points each, Patrick Whelan and Carl Wheatle with 11, and Akwasi Yeboah with 10 points.
Slovenia will play in Group D with Poland, France, Israel, Belgium, and Iceland; Great Britain was drawn into Group B with Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, and Montenegro.
