Greater Manchester Police officers have taped off a city centre shopping precinct after reports of an attack.
Officers have been at the scene this morning (August 20), including crime scene investigators as well as a non-uniformed car.
A large area, including lawns and pavement, outside the Betfred shop at Salford Shopping Centre, on Pendleton Way, was cordoned off.
It comes after police were called just after 5am to reports of an assault.
