Good Morning Britain viewers were left unimpressed as they tuned into the latest edition of the ITV show, with many taking to social media to share their thoughtsAdil Ray and Kate GarrawayAdil Ray and Kate Garraway(Image: ITV)

Good Morning Britain viewers lodged identical complaints as they declared the programme “unwatchable”. Throughout Wednesday’s (August 20) instalment of the ITV show, presenters Adil Ray and Kate Garraway brought audiences the most recent developments from Britain and beyond.

Sean Fletcher was also present in the studio to deliver additional daily updates, whilst Laura Tobin provided regular meteorological reports. Kate and Adil informed audiences about asylum seekers threatened with hotel evictions, alongside the additional service charges imposed when purchasing a pint at establishments.

The pair also interviewed a mother advocating for stricter regulations concerning young motorists following the tragic death of her 17 year old son and three teenage companions in a horrific road collision, reports the Mirror.

Nevertheless, the programme’s audience swiftly grew exasperated with the presenter selection and a contentious discussion regarding the government’s asylum accommodation strategy.

“I can usually watch this but this is just unwatchable,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), with another adding: “45 minutes of ITV nonsense.” A third said: “Goodness, the show is a tough listen these days,” with a fourth viewer similarly sharing: “Kate and Adil, thanks for the heads up, time to turn over. No chance.”

A fifth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “GMB is so out of touch with the views of the British public, that’s why GMB is sinking quicker than the Titanic.” The development follows ITV audiences “switching off” mere minutes into GMB earlier this week.
