Leeds United are closing in on the signing of AC Milan forward Noah Okafor, with the transfer announcement imminent.
Okafor interest from Leeds United was first called by Leeds United News. It was then outlined by Beren Cross that Leeds were seriously considering a move for Okafor from AC Milan ahead of the deadline.
It was also quickly made clear that Milan are open to selling Okafor before the transfer deadline. However, the deal has since accelerated rapidly and Leeds are close to wrapping it up on Thursday.
Further Okafor movement was expected yesterday and then LUN exclusively revealed Okafor to Leeds is a done deal pending a medical, which Okafor has been pictured flying in for since then.

Everton and Arsenal had late Okafor interest but the versatile forward who can be utilised as either a winger or striker is on his way to West Yorkshire instead.
It means Okafor should be signed in time for Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday, and it’s also been revealed that Daniel Farke has been instrumental throughout the Okafor deal.

Fabrizio Romano then confirmed Noah Okafor has passed his medical last night. He states all documents are signed between Leeds and Milan with a club statement to follow on Thursday. The question over a final fee has been somewhat confusing, though.

It was revealed that the fee in total that Leeds would have to pay Milan is over €20 million for the 25-year-old. Instead, £13 million for Okafor is the primary fee, although add-ons were likely and they will take Okafor’s deal closer to £18 million.

If all add-ons are met, Leeds’ 2025 summer spending is just shy of £100 million, but the question is now where those nine signings rank Leeds in the Premier League overall?

Of course, Transfermarkt does not include the add-ons for every deal and Leeds’ figure is somewhat lower from our own estimates based off reported figures.
However, going off their figures as an estimate, it’s clear Leeds are having to be smart. That is because 11 teams have outspent them so far, with more potentially to come.
