Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have announced that they have adopted a “sweet baby girl”.

The pair, who tied the knot in May 2024, confirmed the news in a joint statement via Instagram, saying: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

“And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi,” read the rest of the post, with a sketched outline of a tree placed in between. The duo, who began dating in 2021, did not disclose their child’s name.

The duo’s marriage was confirmed by Bongiovi’s father Jon during an appearance on The One Show last year, with the Bon Jovi frontman saying: “They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding. The bride looked gorgeous and Jake is as happy as can be.”

Though the ceremony was a small-scale affair, it did have a major name officiating, with Brown’s Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine confirming that he was given the honour.

“I have one of the licences to get people married and Millie thought it’d be great and Jake said it’d be a great idea,” said Modine. “So I wrote the wedding vows, and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and become husband and wife.”

While the couple are now raising their child, Brown will soon be seen in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, with the sci-fi series set to return to Netflix later this year with eight episodes across three volumes.
