Kate Middleton revealed what she’s looking forward to in an unexpected message during her summer break.

On Aug. 22, the Princess of Wales, 43, penned a message on the official social media profiles she shares with Prince William to send her well-wishes to the England women’s rugby team ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup.

“Wishing the Red Roses the very best as they kick off their Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign tonight. I look forward to cheering you on and seeing the team rise to the challenge on home soil!,” the Princess of Wales wrote, reposting a graphic from the squad.

She signed the note “C” as shorthand for her first name, Catherine. Both Prince William and Princess Kate use the first initials of their names as shorthand to indicate when messages online come directly from them.

The Princess of Wales is patron of Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League, and her message served as a word of support as the campaign gets underway.

The team is nicknamed the Red Roses and will play the United States at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland kicking off at 7:30 p.m., local time.

Princess Kate is currently outside of the spotlight as she spends summer break with Prince William and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
