Four men have been arrested on suspicion of rape after a teenage girl was reportedly drugged and attacked in a park.
Police were called to Fishponds Park in Surbiton, south-west London, just before 7.15am on Thursday morning.
Forensic teams were seen combing the area throughout the day – with officers establishing a crime scene in the park.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and administering a substance with intent to commit a sexual offence.
A 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old man have additionally been arrested, each on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, and administering a substance with intent to commit a sexual offence.
Another man, aged 41, has also been arrested on suspicion of rape.
All four suspects remain in custody, the Metropolitan Police has said.
The teenage girl, whose exact age has not been released by police, is being supported by specially trained officers.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: ‘We understand this news is concerning for the community and we will be increasing patrols in the area.
‘If you have any information, please contact 101 quoting CAD 1207/21AUG.’
