A huge fight broke out in broad daylight on a residential street in Birmingham last week and was captured on film, with a man brandishing a large knife attempting to slash two men during the melee
West Midlands Police has issued a statement after chilling footage reveals a machete-wielding thug attempting to stab two men in a horrific brawl on a Birmingham street.
The alarming scenes were caught on camera after violence erupted in broad daylight in Sparkhill, Birmingham, last week.
A group of men can be seen arguing outside a row of houses along Showell Green Lane before punches start flying.

Within moments, brawling individuals are scattered across the street as several fights break out simultaneously.
One man, dressed in a grey top and black tracksuit bottoms, is seen brandishing a large knife and trying to slash two men during the chaos.
Meanwhile, residents and motorists look on in shocked horror as the men continue to punch and kick each other for the next two minutes.
Police have confirmed that four men, aged 23, 22 and two aged 20, have since been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We’ve arrested four men on suspicion of violent disorder following an incident on Showell Green Lane, Sparkhill, shortly after 7.30pm, last Wednesday (13 August).
“Four men, aged 23, 22 and two aged 20, were taken into custody and have since been bailed with strict conditions as our enquiries continue.
“Witnesses or anyone with any information should contact us on 101 quoting crime number 20/342846/25.

An anonymous onlooker said: “It was like a Wild West saloon brawl, there were bodies everywhere.
“I don’t know what caused it, but this group were talking in a quite animated way for a while before something sparked it.
“From then on it was just carnage. All hell broke loose. There were fights breaking out all over the place. It’s not what you want to see.
“It’s pretty shameful really, there’s lots of families with kids around here and you’ve got grown men acting like this.”
Another local, who wished to remain unnamed, added: “I just heard and saw all the noise, you keep your doors locked these days and don’t get involved.
“It’s terrifying how unsafe our streets are these days, you simply don’t go out at night.
“There’s always trouble and all these young men just seem lost. It’s sad to see.”
