The 40-year-old man, who police have named as “Anwar” was last seen on a tram in Prestwich heading towards Manchester on Tuesday August 14 at around 1pm.
Officers have now appealed to the public to help them find him.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Anwar, 40 from Tameside?
An appeal has gone out (Image: GMP) “He was last seen on Tuesday 14 August 14 at around 1pm on a tram in Prestwich heading towards Manchester.
“Extensive enquiries have been conducted since he was first reported missing to us.”
Anwar has been described by police as an Asian male, around five foot six inches tall, of slim build with short black hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit, black hoodie, red and black trainers, an orange wristwatch, a black hat and a wallet around his neck.
Police often put out missing appeal like this to encourage members of the public to come forward who may have seen them or who may have any information.
