Following the success of last year’s event, Growing Matters, a charity committed to fostering community spirit and environmental stewardship, has announced the date for this year’s event.

The open day will take place on Sunday, September 7, from noon to 4pm.

Visitors can expect a range of activities including home baking and beverages, talks on beekeeping by resident beekeeper John, and willow weaving sticks available for sale, along with a number of basket exhibits.

The day will also feature a plant and cut flower stall, vegetable stall, jam and preserves, fruit liqueurs, tombola, teas and coffees, bees and honey, and tours of the garden.
