Playlist for Life wants people to share personally significant songs.
These could be tunes from their youth, family lullabies, or theme songs from beloved TV shows.
Each suggestion will be added to a playlist representing Inverclyde‘s residents.
Interested parties can fill out the form here.
With permission, the charity will feature these musical memories on their website and social media.
The project, funded by the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, aims to form connections with local community groups and organisations.
It seeks to highlight the positive impact of personal music on mental health and wellbeing.
Playlist for Life also encourages people to use their playlist-maker tool to start creating their own personalised life soundtracks.
A spokesman for Playlist for Life said: “Whether it’s the music from your youth or tunes that remind you of friends and family, lullabies from childhood, or a theme tune from a favourite TV show, music has the ability to take us back in time and remind us of our past, giving you that flashback feeling.”
