A man in his twenties has died after becoming unwell at a residential property in south Belfast on Sunday morning, police have said.
Emergency services were called to the Victoria Place apartments on Wellwood Street, where police responded in support of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
The man was transported to hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the PSNI confirmed: “Police attended an address in the Wellwood Street area of Belfast city centre on Sunday morning, in support of colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. A man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital, where he subsequently died.”
They said enquiries are ongoing and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
